Sequins and Sea Breezes: Save vs. Splurge

Save vs. Splurge

5/25/2016

Hello my little cupcakes! My vacation is SO close I can taste it. Maybe that's why I started this post by calling you cupcakes... or maybe I'm just hungry but either way, I'm ready to be in vacation mode! Speaking of vacation, while doing some shopping for my trip I came across a bunch of new dupes I wanted to share with you. So without further adieu, here is my second installment of Save vs. Splurge!

Save Vs Splurge May 2016

Save Vs Splurge May 2016 -1

1 // Tassels and pom poms are all the rage this year and these Elina Linardaki sandals are on every fashion blogger's feet. For those of us who don't want to spend almost $200 on them, I have good news! These dupes are equally as cute and under $100! They also come in black!
2 // These Karen Walker sunnies are everywhere and I totally understand why, they're timeless, chic and look good on everyone I've seen wear them! But at almost $300 they aren't realistic for everyone's budget so the fact that these dupes are equally as cute and under $15? Yes please!
3 // Fun beach bags are perfect for vacation and pool and beach days but the super cute ones (of course with the tassels and pom poms) can get expensive. This one is just over $100 which is a bit much for a beach bag which is why I love that you can buy the bag charm for $28 and attach it to an inexpensive Target tote and get the designer look for a fraction of the cost. And the best part? You can put the charm on anything to spice it up a little!
4 // Love this beach coverup but don't want to spend $160 on it? I don't blame you! What if I told you that you could get this one for under $25 and it comes in multiple colors
5 // Kerri got me hooked on these Shashi bracelets. I wear my Lilu one every day but they can get a little pricey. This fun set is $83 or you can get this set for $48!
6 // I love Mara Hoffman just as much as the next person, the prints and colors are fabulous, but sometimes the price is a little high. This adorable knot front one-piece is on sale but still over $150. This dupe could almost pass for the real one and it's over 75% cheaper than the real thing!

  5. I love the bathing suit dupe! It looks seriously identical! And that cover up! I still can't get into those weird kinder-craft sandals, but glad to know there are dupes out there for people who like them. I know a few kindergarten classes that could make some pairs for the cheap haha

  7. The last bathing suit is like an exact dupe. That is insanity. I've never ordered from them, I wonder about the shipping, return policy etc. Fab roundup girl.

  8. Great finds, the coverup and bathing suit are practically the same as the splurges! I may have to buy the Karen Walker dupes, I've been lusting over the originals but there's no way I'm dropping that much on a pair of sunglasses that I'll most likely break/lose!

  12. These are great dupes, but I'd be nervous to order from SheIn because of the bad reviews it has online for no tracking links and bad customer service. It reminds me a little bit of CupShe (which I'm also nervous to order from lol) which sucks because their clothes are so cute and cheap!!! Have you ever ordered from them before?

  24. I love these posts! I've been looking for a pair of sandals like that...but they are all super expensive. I actually found a cute pair at Target, but they were out of my size, might have to order online.
And the other dupes...are almost exact! The save bathing suit is actually nicer looking than the expensive one. The pom pom charm is adorable! Great way to save money.
