Happy humpday babes! This has been a whirlwind week for me already. I apologize for my absence on Monday, if you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed I took a quick little weekend trip up to Savannah. Don't worry, that full recap will be coming soon and I can honestly say that I will definitely be making other trips to Savannah soon! It was SO nice to get to experience some fall weather since we've still been mostly in the 80's here in Florida.

Cooler weather meant I could FINALLY break out these over the knee boots I scooped up a few weeks ago on a major score at Nordstrom Rack. Like most every girl, I had been wanting the Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots for years now but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on spending that much on them. When I saw them at Nordstrom Rack DEEPLY discounted I actually thought I was going to pass out but of course I scooped them up and have been dying to wear them ever since so when I saw temperatures in the 50's in Savannah I knew it was the perfect chance. I ended up wearing this outfit out for rooftop drinks before heading out to dinner. As you can tell, it was pretty windy and cloudy out, so I was a bit worried about being cold but these boots are well lined so they were actually incredibly warm and this sweater is definitely one of my favs currently. I was skeptical when I bought it since it's only $20 but it's even thicker than some of my Express sweaters that were considerably more. This was definitely one of my favorite outfits I wore out this weekend and I will be repeating it again as soon as it's cool enough down here!

I'll probably be radio silent the rest of the week. Novie has another chemo appointment tomorrow and we finally get the scan to find out if it's working or not so keep your fingers crossed for us tomorrow and I'll keep everyone updated! Hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week!

Happy humpday friends! I hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far! I'm still having a hard time grasping that Christmas is the next holiday and it's less than a month away. I should probably start shopping, huh? Every year I say I'm going to get all my shopping done early and every year Christmas sneaks up on me and I end up rushing. I'm nothing if not consistent. Speaking of consistent, can we talk about how I stepped out of my consistent comfort zone of wearing neutrals with this bright blue top?

Ironically blue is my favorite color yet for some reason it's the color I have the least of in my closet. I had been wanting this thermal tunic since it first came out a few months ago and I spotted a few of my favorite bloggers rocking it but it was just too hot out for me to even think about long sleeves until recently. We've finally started to get some consistently cool weather so when I saw it go on sale during the Black Friday sales I knew I had to get it. Ironically it's cheaper now since it went on major sale for Cyber Monday (which goes through today!) but oh well. I had originally wanted it in a neutral (surprise, surprise) but when I saw this blue in person, I just couldn't pass it up. I absolutely love the over-sized fit of the top (it would have been perfect for Thanksgiving face stuffing) and I'm a sucker for the little thumb holes on the sleeves. I have a habit of pulling my sleeves down over my hands when I'm cold any way and this makes it much easier to do. I am all about the cute comfort during the colder months so be prepared to see this top on repeat and who knows, I might even be buying it in another color before the end of the day since it's currently less than $40! Hope everyone has a fabulous rest of the week!
