Is it just me or is anyone else completely blown away that tomorrow is Thanksgiving? I swear the time has flown by and here I am scrambling to figure out what all needs to be done before I start my Thanksgiving feast tomorrow! Today I will be completely MIA as my work has a tradition of the entire Marketing team going and helping out in a store the day before a holiday so I'll be running around trying to help everyone when truthfully, I'm pretty lost in the stores myself! Then, I'll be taking a little blogging break tomorrow and Friday to spend time with friends and family, relax and eat myself into a food coma enjoy the holiday but before I do I wanted to do this A-Z of what I'm thankful for which I stole from VeroSays!
The Thankful from A-Z sheet, is where you write down the alphabet down and think of something you are thankful for that begins with each letter of the alphabet. I thought I'd share my A-Z Thankful sheet with you, from big things to the little things and everything in between:
A. Autumn. Fall happens to be my favorite season and even though we don't get much of a fall down here I'm thankful for the time I spent living up north and experiencing the crisp cool air and the leaves changing.
B. Books. As silly as it sounds I love being able to get lost in a good book and not think about anything else for a bit. When my grandmother died, I turned to reading to help take my mind off of it.
C. Car. I'm so thankful to have a safe, reliable form of transportation to get me where I need to go.
D. My dog. My furbaby is by far one of the most important things in my life.
E. Everyday. I know that's pretty broad but I'm thankful for every day I wake up and my every day life.
F. Friends and family. I have a very small family, none of which even live in the same timezone as me so it's nice to have great friends I can rely on.
G. Goals. I'm thankful I'm able to set goals for myself and strive to reach them.
H. Home. Enough said.
I. The Internet. I seriously don't know what I would do without the internet.
J. Job. I was in a job that made me super unhappy for years and the effects of it still weigh on me occasionally but I'm so thankful to have a job I love now that allows me to grow and learn and do things I enjoy doing.
K. Knowledge. Knowledge is power my friends.
L. Love.
M. Money. Ok, I know that sounds a bit shallow but I'm thankful I have money to pay my mortgage, my bills and to still have enough to be able to do things.
N. Nice weather. I live in FL so sometimes you take nice weather for granted. I'm thankful I don't have to walk uphill 20 miles in the snow to get to work/school/etc.
O. Ohio. My home state.
P. My parents. Like I said, I have a very small family so being an only child means I'm really close to both my parents. Even though we argue and don't always agree I'm lucky to have them both.
Q. Quiet. Sometimes you just need a little quiet time.
R. Road trips. I love traveling and sometimes it's easier to take a road trip than it is to fly some where. I feel lucky that I live close enough to a lot of great places that road trips are an option. Hello Key West!
S. Shopping. Preferably the online kind.
T. Traveling.
U. UCF. Our football team may suck this year but I'm thankful for the school that provided me with my education and taught me so many things. And I'm thankful I get to be a football season ticket holder even when we do suck!
V. Vacation. Something I don't take nearly enough!
W. Water. Not just to drink but the ocean, lakes, rivers...pretty much any body of water. I always feel more calm by the water.
X. XMAS. Not going to lie, I couldn't think of another word that started with X...
Y. Yummy food. No seriously. I love food.
Z. Zzzz's. Ok, so that should really go under S for sleep but whatever. Oh! And zoos! One of my favorite things to do is to spend the day at a zoo with all the animals!
I hope everyone has a fabulous, safe and perfect Thanksgiving!
