Happy Friday lovelies! We made it through another week. I don't know about any one else but this one somehow simultaneously dragged and flew by all in one. Maybe I'm just going slightly crazy, either way I'm happy it's Friday and I can't believe it's the last Friday of March! We've already been getting upper 80's temperatures here so I know summer is going to be a hot one. Hot temperatures mean sweat and we all know sweat and makeup do not go together so today I'm sharing with you some new favorite facial mists to help your makeup stay put in the warmer weather!

I know I'm a little late to the game on facial mists but better late than never, right? I remember a few years ago on our girl's trip to Charleston, it was SO incredibly hot out (who's idea was it to go to Charleston in mid-August?!) and while on a carriage ride, Biana whips out her Evian facial mist, sprays me down and I fell in love instantly. Ever since that moment I've started trying out new facial mists and today I'm sharing a few from Pixi I've been using lately.

The Vitamin Wakeup Mist is perfect to use in the morning after washing your face. It has an orange blossom water base that is blended with citrus fruit extracts, lavender, and arginine which adds hydration, refreshes and wakes up skin and provides a protective layer against all the nasty stuff that builds up on your skin throughout the day. My only complaint with this mist is the sprayer is a bit heavy so it's not quite as "misty" as it could be.

The Hydrating Milky Mist is a good morning or evening mist. It contains a blend of blend of black oat, pro-vitamin A and linoleic acid which gives you an instant surge of hydration and plumpness to your skin. Being completely honest, this is the one I've used the least so I can't say I love or hate it. My skin tends to be oily so anything that "hydrates" I tend to be wary of in fear it will make me more shiny.

The Makeup Fixing Mist has by far been the one I have used the most. This product has a rose water and green tea infused formula comforts, protects and balances skin which extends and refreshes makeup while balancing the skin. Usually I'll spray this on after I've done my makeup. I use 4 sprays focusing on my forehead/t-zone, cheeks and chin and will use throughout the day as needed just to refresh my makeup. Is it as good as the Urban Decay All Nighter? No. But it is literally half the cost and does a good enough job where I'd buy it again. I think if I had less oily skin and lived in an environment that didn't have 300% humidity 90% of the year I could probably get away with the Pixi one all year but I'll probably switch back to my UD one when our humidity jumps. 

Last but not least is the Pixi Glow Mist. I love the Glow Tonic so I was definitely excited to try this out. The Glow Mist contains 13 natural oils, propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts to hydrate, protect and nourish your skin. Does it feel good on your skin? Sure does. Does it give you a glowing complexion? Ehhh. Honestly (for me) I think this would be better used without makeup to give me a dewy/glowing look but spraying it over my makeup really doesn't do much for me. Not saying you wouldn't have different results but I didn't love it as much as I love the Glow Tonic.

Happy Humpday friends! Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far! It's nice to be back in the office and have some normalcy return to my schedule. As fun as it is to be out and about, it's also nice to have a normal schedule and feel like you're actually getting something accomplished, ya know?  Today will be my first time working out in over a week and I have a feeling it's going to be really rough. Luckily this cute tee makes up for all the soreness I'm going to be feeling tomorrow!

It's definitely no secret I love stripes. Ok, maybe it's a little more than love, I'll admit I have a slight obsession with stripes. And lately I've been seriously crushing on ruffles so when I saw this tee I knew I had to have it. Two of my favorite things in one top? Definitely a no-brainer! It's also super comfy which is a definite plus. I love pieces that can be dressed up or down and this tee definitely fits that! I wore this top with a pencil skirt to work and then switched into jeans and wedges to walk around and have dinner. Speaking of walking around, I know that every blogger and their mom has these Marc Fisher wedges and now that I own a pair, I totally understand why. These are quite possibly the most comfortable non-flats I own. They're definitely a little heavy but you get used to the extra weight pretty quickly and I love that no matter how far you walk in them, they never hurt your feet. As a short girl who loves wearing heels, these are definitely a godsend!

Happy Monday babes! As most of you know, thanks to a conference I attended, I got to spend some time playing tourist in my own city last week and part of that was getting to explore parts of Disney property that we don't normally check out. Disney's BoardWalk has plenty to do but is often ignored if you aren't staying on Disney property. Reminiscent of Coney Island, the boardwalk has restaurants, games, bars and dance halls, shops as well as a hotel. We got to check out one of the newer restaurants, Trattoria al Forno.

Even though Trattoria al Forno isn't in the "heart" of all the action, I would still recommend to have a reservation to eat there or be prepared to wait an hour or more. There is a walk-up window outside where you can order pizza by the slice or a whole pizza to go but all the seating on the patio is for dine-in guests so you'll need to take it with you and find somewhere to eat. 

If you're dining in, you'll notice they have an extensive wine list as well as beer and cocktails. You start your experience with a warm, freshly baked ciabatta loaf with olive oil and if you know me, you know the way to my heart (at least at a restaurant) is delicious fresh baked bread. Everything at Trattoria al Forno is made fresh in house from the bread to the pasta, the only thing that is brought in is the gelato and that's due to lack of freezer space. We opted for the smoked prosciutto, potato, rosemary and mozzarella pizza and it did not disappoint! The pizzas are relatively small so if you're sharing I recommend getting either an appetizer or desert to make sure you don't leave hungry. I was craving funnel cake (which happens to be located in a stand across the street) so I opted for the Zeppoli for desert and it was AMAZING. I could have easily asked for the strawberry balsamic dipping sauce to go and eaten it with just a spoon and been completely happy.

Hello dolls! Hope everyone has had a fabulous week so far! The weekend is officially in sight and I don't know about you but I am definitely ready! By now you've probably heard about or at least seen these Tiffany Blue bears somewhere on social media and if not, it's possible you've been living under a rock. After seeing them pretty much everywhere and seeing almost every female celebrity (I'm looking at you Kardashians, Jenners, Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Ratajkowski and more) talking about these I decided to give them a try.
If you know me, you know that my hair is definitely one of my biggest insecurities. As I've gotten older my hair has gotten much thinner and it's always been fine so it's difficult to curl and keep curled, it splits easily among other things so anything that promises to help those issues I'm willing to give a try. If you haven't heard of SugarBearHair, I'll give you a quick run down before we go into my rundown. SugarBearHair claims to feature 15 natural vitamins (such as A, C, D and E) and minerals including zinc, Biotin and B-12, as well as coconut oil, additives and sugar all of which are supposed to promote hair growth, increased hair shine and reduce hair breakage in a sweet tasting gummy to encourage you to want to take your vitamins. Two things I will note that are missing from SugarBearHair are protein and iron which are both key ingredients in hair growth. The gummy is a pretty Tiffany Blue color (hello my favorite color!) and is in the somewhat shape of a bear. Some of the gummies came out looking like a severely deformed bear but I won't judge them on that. Ok, now that you know the basics let's talk about what happened when I tried SugarBearHair for 30 days.
First I'll note that I'm not a huge fan of gummies. I take gummy vitamins because it's pretty much the easiest way to convince me to take vitamins but given my choice of candy, gummies would be pretty far down on the list. These however were definitely the exception to my rule. I popped my first one and was immediately addicted. They aren't too chewy or soft and they taste like dessert, no joke, they are seriously delicious. After taking my daily allotment of two, I was craving more but I didn't want to mess up my trial so I withheld my craving until the next day. I didn't exactly measure my hair before taking these but I did know about where it was down my back so I had some basis to go off of, even if it wasn't 100% accurate. Right away I noticed that my hair held a curl better (still not perfect) and it lasted longer, but this could also be attributed to the lower humidity we've been having here in Florida lately so I won't say that was definitely from the gummies. After two gummies a day for 30 days I'd say my hair has grown maybe 1/2 an inch, still breaks easily but it is shiner and softer feeling. So all in all, not overly great results and certainly not anything dramatic. In all fairness, maybe you have to use these for more than 30 days to see any major changes but I wouldn't say these are a miracle worker of hair. Would I buy them again? Probably. But it'd probably be more for the taste than anything. I wonder if one of their secret ingredients is crack? I kid. Kind of. 

Happy Monday babes! I'm not going to lie, this weekend was rough for me so it was pretty uneventful. Friday kicked my butt with some sort of weird stomach thing. I woke up fine and as the day went on I got sicker and sicker and I tried to tough it out and go out for St. Patrick's Day since it's a tradition for Kerri and I but I made it through a half a beer before I was in home and in bed. Luckily I'm feeling mostly better today since I have a conference the next few days but that also means until Thursday I'll probably be absent from bloggerland. 

But being sick all weekend wasn't going to stop me from sharing another one of my favorite craft breweries here in Orlando, Wop's Hops. Similar to the one last week, this brewery is also located in Sanford in the historic Stokes Fish Market building and has a great indoor and outdoor space. We originally checked this place out on my birthday limo cycle tour two years ago but had forgotten about it because it's just slightly off the main strip of downtown Sanford so when we decided to head up there it was like finding a long lost treasure again. It was a great day to just sit outside, enjoy a cold brew and people watch which is exactly what Wop's Hops delivers. It doesn't hurt that they have amazing food too! When we were there they had 12 of their own beers on tap and a few guests breweries on tap as well so there's plenty to choose from! If you're ever in Orlando and looking to check out one of the local craft breweries, I highly recommend Wop's Hops, especially before it gets too hot to enjoy their beer garden!
