Friday Favorites: Kiehl's3/10/2017
Happy Friday babes! I've never met a Kiehl's product I didn't love, so last week when I got invited to check out the brand new store at Disney Springs I jumped on the opportunity. One of the perks of checking out the new store was of course the product samples I got, including several full sized samples and a few products I've never even tried before. So today I thought I'd share my review of them with you and see if you've tried any of these, what you think!
One of my favorite products was the Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil. I had never tried this cleansing oil before but lately I've been loving cleansing oils to remove my makeup at night. I have to say, this stuff is amazing. One of the sweetest employees working at the Disney Springs Kiehl's told my I would love this product and I was skeptical but she wasn't kidding. It literally melts your makeup off and leaves your skin feeling soft and clean.
I was also a huge fan of the Ultra Face Cream. This is a product of Kiehl's I've used in the past and was reminded why I liked it so much previously. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly but the best part (for me) is it's not oily at all. I usually put this on before bed so I'm not sure how it is under makeup but it's great at night for me.
The Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask is by far one of my favorite Kiehl's products I've tried. I didn't notice a huge difference in my pores right away but after a few days I felt like I could tell a difference. Maybe it's wishful thinking or maybe they really were smaller, either way, I love the deep clean feeling this mask gives me. It reminds me of a cheaper, less harsh version of the Glam Glow. I will definitely be purchasing this.
The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is their best selling product and while it definitely makes my skin feel soft, I can't say I noticed any huge differences. I only received a small sample so maybe you need to use this for longer before you notice a change but it wasn't a favorite of mine.
The Daily Reviving Concentrate is another meh product for me. Again, I received only a small sample so maybe I didn't use it for long enough but I wasn't in love with it. It's lightweight and the smell is nice but that's about all I can say about it.
If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of my rose water mist so I was excited and skeptical about trying the Cactus Flower and Tibetan Ginsing Mist. Do I love it more than my rose water? Let's not get crazy here. But I definitely did enjoy the switch up! It's the perfect mid-day refresher and I also have been using it before applying my makeup to give my skin a little pick-me-up.
I saved my least favorite for last, the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Mask. In all fairness, I tried the Rare Earth mask first and I think that anything after that is tough to match up to but I just wasn't a fan of this mask. I didn't notice any changes to my skin, the cranberry seeds were a bit of a pain to get off and if you know anything about turmeric, it stains anything it touches so be careful and don't get any on your clothes!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
