Sequins and Sea Breezes: Weekending - I'm Back!

Weekending - I'm Back!

7/23/2018

Guys, I'm alive! I know, it's been a few weeks since I've been consistent around here but I'm going to try to get better. Truth be told, I've just been uninspired to write and I've been enjoying living in the moment more. Instead of sitting in front of my computer or on my phone, I've been trying to do new things, get out and enjoy life and meet new people. I'm not going to lie, I've been having a blast doing it! But for the first time in a few weeks I'm doing a good ol' fashioned weekending post so lets jump right in it, shall we?

Friday night after work I headed over to Animal Kingdom with some co-workers. We booked some Fast Passes so we got to ride some of my favorites like Expedition Everest and the Kilimanjaro Safari and we also rode a new ride (to me) Flight of Passage in the Pandora section of the park. If you haven't ridden it, You. Are. Missing. Out. It was SO amazing and I already can't wait to ride it again. Totally worth the 1.5 hour wait and trust me, other than food and 3EB there are very few things I will wait in line that long for.

Saturday I headed up to one of my favorite bbq places for lunch before running some errands. After a long day of bouncing all over the place, I hit up the pool for a bit before heading out to dinner. Goat cheese always makes for a happy end to a day.

Sunday was a friend's birthday celebrations but unfortunately we had some crappy weather so plans changed. It was supposed to be a fun beach day but some really bad storms rolled in so backup plans included this amazing French dip sandwich and a raspberry mimosa.

  6. That's awesome that you've been taking the time to try new things! I've been spending more time away from blogging and social media this summer too. It's been really helpful during busy times! That bathing suit is super cute!!
