Congratulations crazy Florida weather, you win. I've officially gotten my first cold of the season and it could not have come at a worse time. Not that there is any "good" time for a cold but my parents happen to be in town this weekend and I had to make another trip back up to Gainesville on Monday so I haven't really gotten any time to rest and recover. Oh well. That's what the weekend is for right? Oh right, I already have plans this weekend too. Sigh. But speaking of crazy Florida weather, how is it possible to be 86 one day and 66 the next? Not cool.
I know I've complained about our crazy weather swings in the past but I guess it could be worse. It might be annoying but I definitely don't miss the snow. Plus there's something really fun about knowing I can rock a maxi dress and flip flops in December and not freeze. I wore this dress out for Sunday Funday two weekends ago and it was so comfy. It was a bit breezy out, sunny and the perfect maxi weather. I actually brought my jean jacket with me and put it on after the sun went down and it got a bit cooler out. And did I mention what a steal this dress is?! Super comfy, the softest material ever and it even has pockets and it's under $30! When I saw my girl Kerri rocking it a few weeks ago, I absolutely knew I had to have it and now I'm going to be purchasing it in other colors!
