Maxi skirts are pretty much my go-to spring/summer uniform, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Oh who am I kidding... I still sport the maxi in fall and winter too. It's definitely no secret that I love maxi skirts and dresses for their comfort and versatility. This coral maxi is by far one of my favorite maxis I own for multiple reasons. It goes great with so many things and the color is perfect for summer. I love pairing a crochet top with a fun maxi for a cute bohemian look but it's also great in Florida on those ridiculously hot days. Last year in Key West this was our daily attire because it was so simple to throw on over a bikini and go! That is the great thing about Florida, swimsuits and flip flops are considered acceptable clothing...especially in the Keys! In fact, if you're wearing heels and anything more than a swimsuit you're overdressed!

Hey dolls! It's time again for the East vs. West Coast mash-up with the lovely Paige from Life's A Party Dress Like It! This time we decided to do an ode to a summer trend you're going to be seeing a lot this year, crochet/lace. Paige and I were super excited to do this trend since we're both loving the crochet/lace trend this year!
I'm seriously loving the way Paige paired a lavender linen skirt with her flirty crochet top and added a a bit of dressy fun to the outfit with metallic sandals. And she's totally rocking that side braid (a definitely summer hair go-to)!

Shhh.... don't tell any one but I actually wore this outfit (and took the pictures) a few weeks ago when I was over visit friends on the Gulf coast. It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend, sunny, warm with a slight breeze so this outfit was perfect. We didn't do anything fancy but we did do a lot of walking and grabbed a few drinks. These shorts were so comfortable for walking around, it was almost like wearing pajamas but way cuter. I absolutely love the neon pink color of them, it really makes you look like you have an amazing tan. I was actually surprised at how tan I looked in these pictures! I laid out earlier that day but trust me, the shorts do wonders for giving the illusion that I'm ridiculously dark (the low lighting probably helped too since the pictures are a little dark too)!

Hello 3-day weekend!!! I don't know about you but I'm super excited to have an extra long weekend to relax, get some sun and sleep! It's supposed to be insanely hot here on Saturday (I'm talking 98 degrees hot, people. And no, not the boy band the actual temperature 98 degrees. It's gonna be a HOT summer) so I foresee some pool time in my future.
Since it's Friday you know what that means! Yup, it's time for my Friday Favorites with the absolutely lovely Amanda from Meet At The Barre!

1. All of these are gorgeous ladies and they all have one thing in common. I want their hair! My birthday is right around the corner and it's summer so I'm thinking it's time to switch up my hair. I've had the balayage going on for a few months now and I still like it but my hair definitely could use a trim. So what do you guys think? Should I try one of the looks above or keep with the balayage for summer? HELP! :)

2. This dress and clutch are perfection. I need both of these in my life immediately. I'm seriously on the hunt for this dress, if any one knows where to find it let me know!
3. Super excited that The Tonight Show is coming to Orlando in June and I managed to score tickets to go to a taping! Hello Jimmy Fallon! These tickets went online in the middle of the day and the middle of the week and sold out in like 3 minutes but my ninja fast typing skills landed me tickets and I'm super excited!

5. It's Memorial Day weekend so that definitely means a delicious cocktail by the pool will be had! This Ciroc Pomegranate Lemonade sounds like the perfect refreshing cocktail on a hot day! Cheers to all of the men and women who served our country. Thank you for all you have done (and continue to do) to ensure our freedom.
On that note, thank you to my amazing grandfather who is no longer with me for me to thank in person. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. We miss you and love you grandpa!
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday weekend! Enjoy your extra day off and remember all the men and women who have given their lives so we can have every thing we have today!
