Happy Friday lovelies! Hope everyone had an amazing week! Seriously, I cannot deal with how cute Meghan Hess' graphics are . I'm sure you're getting sick of them by now but I can't stop using them! So, I'll be heading back to my good 'ol (second) hometown tomorrow for an event at my friend's brewery which actually comes at a great time! Tomorrow happens to also be my one year anniversary from being free of a job I was completely miserable at for years so cheers to that! It's amazing how much your personality and life can change when you're happy and believe in what you do. Ok, enough of that let's jump into our Friday Favorites with Amanda, shall we?
1 // I'm obsessed with fall so I've been on the hunt for cute sweaters even though it's no where near sweater weather here yet. This sweater is adorable and definitely a must in my closet for cooler temperatures! Also totally loving this plaid poncho and you can't beat the price. I just don't know how a poncho would look on me...
2 // After reading The Royal We (multiple times), I had been looking for another "royal" book to read when I came across Suddenly Royal. It hasn't lived up to The Royal We standards yet (seriously, if you haven't read that book yet, do it! It's a light, easy read that's super cute) but it's definitely cute so far! And it's a trilogy so it should keep me entertained for awhile!
3 // I am definitely ready for scarf season. It's still way too hot down here to break them out without sweating profusely but when it does I am loving this plaid scarf. The neutral colors make it perfect for any outfit and it's so cozy!
4 // Guys, this Bobbi Brown highlighting powder is so perfect! It gives you such a great glow without being super "glittery" if that makes sense. I'm seriously obsessed. The pink glow is perfect for fall to give you that flushed but glowing look.
5 // Bauble Bar is having their friends and family event right now so it's 25% off everything (someone help me, my bank account is ready to kill me!) with the code AMIGOS. I'm seriously in love with this chunky tortoise cuff and this constellation necklace. I'm also kinda digging this ring... I think I need more fingers if I'm going to continue to buy rings!
5 // Bauble Bar is having their friends and family event right now so it's 25% off everything (someone help me, my bank account is ready to kill me!) with the code AMIGOS. I am Bobbi Brown obsessed but I've never tried that highlighting powder… that is definitely next on my list to try. That scarf is amazing. Not quite scarf weather in NC yet but hoping it's soon!

ReplyDeleteseriously, I loved The Royal We, and I have been searching for similar books, no dice. I tweeted them and asked them to write a sequel lol but they said it was up to their publisher, boo. Maybe if the book gets more popular?? Anyway, I will check out that trilogy!
I am obsessed with highlighters so no doubt I'll be adding this to my bag soon! I have the same concern with ponchos- I really want one but not sure how they'll look? Girl, that is a great anniversary to have! Celebrate! Happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteHoly cow, it has been a year!! We went through that major (and stressful for a bit) change at the same time! I can't believe how slow time passed the day we found out, but how quickly it's passed since then!

I've been loving and overusing those graphics as well, so keep 'em coming gurlie! And I'm finally almost done with The Royal We (almost finished last night, but the Saints actually pulling out a win trumped reading), so I'd love to dive into another royal-ish read! ReplyDeleteI love that sweater! There's an Aztec-ish printed sweater/poncho at Old Navy that I so desperately want! I don't know if I could pull of a wrap poncho either, but every time I see a plaid one I love it. I need to try one on!

Get the poncho! It takes a while to find the perfect one but I love them now! The Royal We and that other Royal Series are sitting on my desk to be read just as soon as I finish my Princess Kate book - so much royalness to read up on!
