Happy Tuesday dolls! When I posted my first Islamorada recap last week I had a few people asking me where I got this dress from and I promised it'd be on the blog so here it is! :) I wore this dress out to dinner and drinks on the beach while on vacation and it was the perfect maxi to keep me cool and still look chic since we were at a pretty upscale resort. Although excuse my salty hair, we spent the entire day out at the beach and all we did was a quick rinse off before heading out to dinner so my hair was full of salt and sand, just as it should be on vacation!
These pictures were all taken at the Cheeca Lodge Resort near their spa on property. The waterfall and lagoon area were so relaxing and tranquil, I could have easily just hung out there all day, although I'm pretty sure I would have eventually wanted to jump in that water! This dress is such a great LBD for vacation or just every day wear. The cut outs on the side make it a bit sexy without showing off too much and the material is soft and clingy but in a flattering way. I love that it's not super long either since this short girl really didn't feel like wearing heels out all day! The best part? It's under $20! I paired the dress with my lace up dv sandals for a casual yet still cute look and my favorite pair of tassel earrings. I'm all about the tassels lately and these are so fun!
