A Few Days in Vegas
5/01/2017
Happy Monday and first day of May friends! Can you believe it's already May? Where has this year gone? I feel like I blinked and the year was half over. Thanks to everyone for understanding my absence last week. I was right to assume the week would be hectic so keeping up in the blogging world would be impossible! For those who didn't know, last week I spent the week out in Las Vegas for a work conference so today I'm recapping that trip (mainly in pictures).
. This wasn't my first trip to Vegas so I already knew what to expect for the most part but I can honestly say Vegas has changed SO much in the past 7 years. I feel like Vegas is one of those places that is always evolving so if you go every few years you'll probably have something new to see but there really isn't the need to spend more than a few days there. We were there Sunday through Thursday and only really had one evening off so I didn't get to do nearly as much sightseeing as I would have liked but if you were there for 3-4 days without having to be stuck inside a convention center for 9 hours a day you could easily see all the sights Vegas has to offer.
This trip I ended up staying at The Venetian in a Bella Suite and I would absolutely stay there again. The Venetian is right in the heart of the strip so you can pretty much walk everywhere (the strip is only 2.5 miles long total so you can technically walk every where any way but it just might take you awhile). There are also a bunch of delicious restaurants in the Venetian not to mention the amazing pools. Yes, I said pools! If you're not much of a gambler, there's still plenty for you to do in Vegas! From some of the best restaurants in the country to amazing shows, shopping and nightlife you can find plenty to do without hitting the slots. If you haven't been to Vegas, definitely add it to your bucket list. It's worth visiting at least once!

We have a work conference in Vegas every year and my body never seems to adjust to the time out there. It's exhausting! The Venetian is a great location and that suite sounds fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!! Glad you had a good time in Vegas - I can't say that's on my travel bucket list currently, but maybe one day!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice work trip! The Venetian was one of my favorite hotels when we visited. Vegas is definitely something to do at least once!
ReplyDeleteThe Bella Suite at the Venetian is the way to go! I stayed in one once and it was so good! One of my favorite places to stay!
ReplyDeleteI'm headed to Vegas in June for work, but like you I will be pretty much in a convention center ALL week! It's fun to be able to get out at night and see the sights though. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI'm always amazed at how much Vegas is always changing, even going a year a part I noticed so many new places and all the hot spots changed too. Can't wait to hear more about your trip, and of course what I like to call the Lauren Conrad suite <3

I always love staying at The Venetian because it's just so beautiful! I still haven't really gone to the pool much when I visit Vegas, and I don't know why. All of them are so beautiful! And you're so right, you can easily see and do a lot of what Vegas has to offer in a few days. It's always so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, there's always something new in Vegas! Sounds like you had a good work trip -- and I'm loving that dress on you too!

I agree Vegas is always evolving and getting new things so going back to visit after a few years could be a totally different experience. Sounds like some long work days but good you got to get out for a bit when you had some free time.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!! I've never stayed at the Venetian, but it looks gorgeous!! That's awesome that you got to go for work... I just got back from San Antonio for work. So not the same. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is amazing on you! It's nice that you had some time off to sight-see a little and take these beautiful photos!

I haven't been to Vegas since I was much younger. My husband has never been. We need to add it to our bucket list!
ReplyDeleteVegas, how I love thee! The Venetian is gorgeous, we stayed there the last time we traveled. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun trip! We go about 2-3 times a year as it's only a 3 hour drive for us, and it is ALWAYS changing. There's always something new it's crazy! But so fun! You almost need a vacation from your vacation.
