Happy Humpday loves! It's all downhill from here... does any one else get the New Found Glory song stuck in their head after saying that? No, just me? Ok cool. I don't know why but I have been so tired this week, it's been a struggle to get up every morning so I am definitely ready for the weekend (although with my luck I'll be wide awake at like 6 am on the weekend). Lately I've been layering clothing like a homeless person. It will be in the upper 30's when I leave for work, then in the mid 60's while I'm at work and back down in the upper 40's or low 50's when I leave work so Ive been trying to dress for the crazy temperature swings. Oh and did I mention that we've been having crazy winds on top of the weird temperatures? So there's that too!
Happy Tuesday loves! Our crazy Florida weather is back in full swing. Today's high is 73 and two days ago it was in the 30's. I swear you never really know what to expect any more. It might look really nice out then you step outside and and realize it feels nothing like what it looks. I've just decided my best course of action to beat the weather is to dress in layers.
This super comfy long sleeve swing dress is perfect for layering with a cozy blanket scarf. One of my favorite things in an outfit is something that can be taken from casual to dressy. This dress is perfect with sandals, boots or even heels. I decided to rock the Hunter boots with this outfit mainly because it was off an on showers (yay Florida!) all day and I hate getting my feet wet! I shared this scarf last week and I wasn't kidding when I said it's been a staple for almost every outfit I wore last week, it's the coziest, warmest scarf perfect with any outfit!

Happy Thursday lovelies! One more day until the weekend and I can't wait! Yesterday was a doozy with all my meetings so blogging just wasn't even an option for me. I could barely keep up with work emails, I was in and out of meetings so much, so I just figured I'd take the day off from the blogging world to make it a little easier on myself. And I went back to the gym on Tuesday night for the first time since September and man am I hurting. But hey, no pain, no gain... right? Any suggestions for easing back into working out? It's tough for me since for awhile I worked out 4-5 times a week, then cut it back to 3 times a week and then I just stopped for months so now I want to jump right back in at the weight I was at but that's not an option. FYI, getting older sucks!
Ok, now on to the outfit. I am so obsessed with this dress! I actually got it on sale a few weeks ago and now it's on SUPER clearance (under $25!) and I'm seriously debating on ordering the black version I love it so much. The dress has a serious boho vibe and the crochet cut outs make it a little sexy without showing off too much skin. It goes perfectly with boots or booties and I'm sure it'd even look great with flats... after I get a pedicure because right now my feet are staying in closed toed shoes! I've been wearing these boots on major repeat (I've worn them every day this week to work) because they are so comfy and perfect for these chilly days.

Happy Tuesday dolls! Whew, yesterday was a busy one. I had 3 1/2 hours worth of meetings so I felt like I was barely able to get anything done. And tomorrow is going to be even worse, 4 1/2 hours of scheduled meetings tomorrow. The joys of the new year! Hopefully it won't be too bad. These are the last pictures from my visit out to New Mexico back in December and I'm a little bittersweet about it. While the pictures aren't the greatest; my mom did a great job with taking them, it's more that the lighting is so different from what I'm used to and for example, these pictures were taken while we were out on a several mile hike, I'm sad that I don't get to go back through the picture and reminisce. Plus it was so fun getting to do photos with a completely different backdrop from my norm!
I definitely wasn't trying to be overly fashionable with this outfit but it is a cute outfit for hiking and exploring like we did this day. My boyfriend flannel shirt has quickly become one of my favorite articles of clothing in my closet. To the point where I actually went out and bought two other colors of the same shirt! In an attempt to keep warm I layered with a hoodie then my favorite leather jacket and even rocked the Uggs (not the best hiking shoes but I worked with what I had!). You can probably tell these pictures were taken in two different areas, some in the canyon and some at Tent Rocks Monument. Let me tell you, it was SO windy in Tent Rocks, I thought I was going to get blown away! And silly me doesn't even own a pair of gloves so you'll notice my hands in my pockets a lot in these pictures. Just trying to keep from losing fingers... :) I've definitely learned that doing spur of the moment photo shoots is fun but don't always expect the elements to work nicely with you!

Happy Thursday friends! We've almost officially made it through the first full week of 2016. How's everyone feeling so far? Our weather has been up and down this week which has me all kinds of confused. We started out pretty chilly (especially compared to what it was the week of Christmas) and now we're back up in the 70's but off and on rainy. Kinda crazy and definitely hard to plan for. Luckily my Hunter boots are perfect for this kind of weather!
Since I get up pretty early and it's usually still pretty cool out I've been trying to layer so prepare for the weather. This striped tee is perfect for layering under a sweater or a jacket when it's cooler and by itself when it warms up. I decided to mix stripes and plaid by throwing on my plaid blanket scarf to keep cozy and my favorite floppy hat to keep the rain showers out of my face. Of course any rainy/snowy day calls for Hunter boots to top off your look!
I absolutely love my Hunters and I love that they were under $100! And nope, they weren't on sale either. Want to know my secret? They're kids Hunter boots and they're regularly $80 instead of the normal $150! Did you know that if you wear a women's shoe size 9 or smaller that the kids Hunters will fit you? They're actually the same measurements as the adult sizes. For example, I usually wear a size 5.5 or 6 so I ordered the size 4 in kids. If you wear a size 9 in women's you'd wear a size 7 in kids. Don't believe me? Just check out the sizing chart on their site! Now you know my secret! :)

Happy Tuesday loves! If any of you follow me on Snapchat {pamelanicole84} or Instagram {sequinsandseabreezes} you might have already seen this fun, oversized faux fur cape I wore while out in Albuquerque last month. Wow. I can't believe it's already been a month since I was out there! Obviously you could tell by the pictures I'm not in Florida when I took these although sometimes I wish it snowed in Florida!
This cape was surprisingly warm and I didn't even end up needing a jacket out while we were out exploring the snow in the mountains. The sweater part is a thicker material than an average sweater making it extremely cozy and the faux fur neckline was like wearing a scarf. The cape is one size fitsall most so it was a bit longer on me than it'd probably be on most people since I am extremely short but I didn't mind the longer length. I kept the rest of my outfit pretty casual because we were out walking around all day and I didn't want to be too overdressed (I already was considering we visited a ski resort and almost everyone else was in ski bibs and snow boots!) but it was still fun to take some pictures in the snow since it's definitely not something I get to do every day. And a huge shout out to my mom who took these for me despite not knowing how to work my camera at all and for trying extra hard to find pretty backgrounds to use in the pictures!

Happy Monday! Today is officially the last day of fall, can you believe it? We got a bit of a cold front over the weekend but like I suspected, it didn't last long. Today is supposed to be a high of 82, so much for those winter temperatures. This has been such an abnormally warm fall for us so far. I'm worried Mother Nature is either going to remember and make it a long, harsh winter or we're not going to get much of a winter at all. I guess we'll find out soon! I'm going to be pretty MIA today as I'm flying to Miami for work for the day but if I have internet on the plane I'll reply as soon as I can! Linking up with the gorgeous Biana for our weekend recap!
Friday night I headed out with Kate and the boys on the train to Winter Park for too much some champs on Park Ave. The train is ending it's late night service today so we wanted to take advantage one last time before late night becomes 8 pm LOL. Dinner wasn't the best experience but we checked out a speakeasy and it was pretty fun! We ended up staying out way later than I originally planned, which of course resulted in me falling asleep while out but what else is new? Being old sucks.
Saturday I relaxed in the morning before running out to do some blog pictures and last minute Christmas errands. Later that evening I met up with Kerri to check out a local bar that recently relocated to a new spot.We got there early so we got to enjoy the new space before it got crowded. It's super cute but kind of a pain that they're cash only. After that we headed over to Brass Tap for a nightcap and the fight which was literally over by the time we sat down.
Sunday was spent wrapping Christmas presents and watching football. My Bengals pulled out a win even without our starting QB so we're playoff bound!
And now I'm on my way to the airport to head down south for the day. Wish me luck... at least my airplane has a parachute...

I would really appreciate it if Florida would make up it's mind whether it wants to be hot or cold. Two days ago it was in the 80's and now it's in the 40's. These crazy weather swings are really messing with my wardrobe (as well as my mind)! With the current weather drop it was time to break back out the sweaters and boots so I grabbed this adorable aztec embroidered sweater I found at Forever 21. To keep comfy I decided to pair it with my leather leggings (easily one of my favorite wardrobe staples) and these amazing studded boots I got from H&M. Oh did I mention I got them on sale? Only $15, marked down from $50! I couldn't pass these up! When it's cold out I usually don't accessorize too much, I know any bracelets I wear no one will see since I'm bundled up so I kept it simple with this outfit and let the aztec embroidery be my statement piece.
