Happy Humpday lovelies! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far! Me? I've got travelling on the brain. So much so that I actually had an entire different blog post scheduled for today and I rescheduled it and wrote this one instead! I don't do nearly as much travelling as I'd like, although every time I do travel I get super sad about leaving my pup behind so maybe that's part of the reason, but with my trip to Charleston just around the corner I'm starting to think about what I need to pack! Me, Amanda and Biana leave for Charleston in exactly two weeks tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited to get a nice long weekend with these ladies and meet some Charleston bloggers I've felt like I've known for ages but never actually met before!

1 // A good weekend bag is a definite necessity for a weekend getaway. Loving this gold dipped striped one!

2 // I cannot go outside without sunglasses unless it's raining so sunglasses are a huge must for me. These are so cute and on super sale! I think Biana might actually even have these!

3 // Evian spray is a must after a plane ride to refresh. 'Nuff said there!

4 // The same goes for a good chapstick/lip balm. The air on an airplane is so not good for the skin and my lips always end up getting dry.

5 // Since I'm not checking a bag a rollerball perfume is perfect for a carry on and it makes it easy to touch up after the flight. My girl Kerri has me hooked on this scent!

6 // Good headphones are a must-have on an airplane. If your neighbor decides to strike up a convo with you and you're not feeling it you can just pop these in and call it a day! I've been lusting over these for over a year and for that price I might have to give in!

7 // I mean, does this even need an explanation? Of course you need a kick ass camera while on vacation! This isn't my current camera but I'm seriously lusting after this one.

8 // I don't go anywhere without a hair tie so this one isn't really fair but especially needed on an airplane. If I'm going to try to take a nap I need to put my hair up and sometimes you get stuck on the tarmac for awhile and it can get a little hot waiting to take off.

9 // Hello iPad! Just in case you want to do a little reading, social media stalking or just simply playing games! And how freaking cute is that case?

10 // A cute makeup bag isn't really a must but I mean... it's so adorable! How can you say no?

11 // Last but not least... a great purse that can transition from day to night and not take up too much space. RM bags are definitely my favorite for that and it's on sale!

Happy Tuesday love bugs! Hope everyone's week is off to a fantastic start. Now that I'm recovered from my Sunday Funday (I am way too old to be out after dark on a Sunday!) I'm doing much better. All day yesterday the only thing I could think about was my bed. Naptime at work should be a thing. Preschoolers don't need it nearly as bad as adults, we need to make this a thing. Even though I'm complaining about how tired I am today I really did have a very nice and relaxing Saturday. The weather wasn't the greatest so I kept my outfit casual and comfy to run some errands and grab a bite to eat.

You already know how I feel about stripes (and you've been warned... there will be more stripes coming later this week #sorrynotsorry) so when I saw this J.Crew tank on major sale I knew I had to get it. It's the perfect comfy tank for a casual weekend outfit but it also looks great slightly dressed up with a blazer for work! I kept it super casual with shorts because it's really really hot out still in Florida but I topped off my look with my wedge booties and a floppy hat. Even though it's still really hot out I couldn't resist breaking out my booties. People probably thought I was slightly off my rocker wearing booties in 90+ degree weather but oh well. Sometimes I just can't resist busting something out and this was one of those times! I don't even know what I'm going to do when my new DV boots get here tomorrow. I'm going to die waiting several more months to wear them!

Happy Monday lovelies! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! This is actually going to be a pretty short post because I had a fairly uneventful and relaxing weekend so I can't complain. I definitely feel like the weekend went by way too fast but that's pretty much a given every weekend! Let's link up with the lovely Biana for our weekend recap, shall we?

Friday night it was pouring when I got off work so I just went straight home. I made a prosciutto, cheese and basil aioli sandwich for dinner, which was AMAZING and put on a movie. Actually... make that two movies. Gotta love free preview HBO weekends! Oh, I also painted my nails... twice actually.

On Saturday I ran up to the mall to get a new lipstick. I had plans to get Candy Yum-Yum thanks to my girl Kerri, but the guy working convinced me to try Show Orchid and I loved it so I ended up leaving with it. Let's be real, I'll still end up with Candy Yum-Yum eventually!

After the mall I grabbed some queso and cocktails from Chili's before heading home to cuddle with my pup who wasn't feeling the greatest. Poor little guy has the worst stomach issues.

I also tried my hand at making a craft cocktail when I got home. As you can see... my nails are  already a different color haha! White drink, white nails and white wall. I picked up this pretty concoction from my work cocktail photoshoot a few weeks back. It's a Rosemary gimlet and it was delicious!

Sunday I got a bright and early wake up call from my pup throwing up ALL over my pillow just inches away from my head. It was awesome... not really. After that I had a hard time going back to sleep so Kerri and I decided Sunday cocktails were in order. So we had our own little Sunday Funday which was supposed to be like an hour or two but went WAYYYYY longer than planned. Whoops. So is it time for bed yet?

Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Happy Friday dolls! We made it! This was my first full week in two weeks so it was a bit touch and go there for awhile but I successfully made it through the week and now the weekend is just a few short hours away. Hopefully ;) I have a few things planned this weekend but hopefully I'll find some time to relax and maybe even get some pool time in. Since I got burnt in Key West my back has been peeling pretty bad and I totally look like I have leopard spots. It's definitely annoying, especially since I almost never peel. I definitely need to even out before Charleston, that's for sure! Speaking of Charleston, I can't believe I'll be up there in less than 3 weeks! Linking up with one of my travel buddies, Amanda, for our Friday Favorites!

1. I've been trying to plan my Charleston wardrobe and of course that means buying a few new outfits for the trip! This adorable top has been on my radar but for some reason I feel weird buying black to go out in Charleston. Is that weird?

2. I know I said I was going to avoid Nordstrom's sale (and I probably still will) but if I was going to give in and get something, these would be it! I'm not a huge statement earring wearer but I feel like these I'd make an exception for. I love the iridescent color, it would go with everything!

3. Ok I really can't decided between these two. I really wanted a pair of cognac shoes but haven't been able to find a pair I love in my size. I really like these but they're a bit lighter than I'd prefer but for the price they almost seem worth it! The second ones obviously aren't cognac or even any shade of brown but they are just so darn cute. Any suggestions?!?

4. Seriously though, why can't I have an unlimited bank account? This romper is so freaking cute! It would be so perfect for Charleston and summer in general. I want all the things right now!

5. Soooo not to throw a wet blanket on the Nordstrom sale but GiGi New York is also having their summer sale. If someone loves me they'll get me this as a late birthday present, or early Christmas present... or both, I'm not picky! :) Kidding aside though, I may have to buy this for myself... love!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! I'm going to cry about the martinis I missed Thursday night due to a massive headache and hope I can have one to replace it soon! See you Monday!

Happy Friday eve lovelies! Yay for the weekend being right around the corner! Even though I haven't given into anything from the Nordstrom sale yet I did give into the J.Crew Flash sale they did for one day only and I stocked up on these tanks! I've been trying to get more "timeless, adult" pieces in my wardrobe since the trendier pieces tend to come and go rather quickly. These tank tops are so perfect for dressing up and down so I knew they had to be in my closet. This one is a little more "trendy" with the stripes and the neon but I also got it in white and black. A good silky camisole is a definite must have in every girl's closet.

I've already worn these camis to work with black pants and a pencil skirt so for this look I decided to keep it casual. I really wanted to show just how versatile these tanks are and since I immediately thought of all the ways I could dress it up I figured dressing it down would be more fun. And let's be real, I love being casual on the weekends any way so this was an actual look I wore when I was on ny great shoe hunt on Saturday. I love that all it would take to dress this cami up would be to throw on some jewelry and a pair or wedges or booties and you're ready to go! Oh and it doesn't hurt that they're currently on sale for $25! Now I just need them to make more colors and I'll be set!
