I'm proud to be a part of the second annual #givingtuesday this year! For those of you who don't know, #givingtuesday is a national day of giving to kick of what is known as the "giving season". It was started in 2012 as an awareness campaign to celebrate and encourage charitable activities. The best part? Everyone can participate in this powerful role of giving to those in need or less fortunate, all you need is a piece of paper! Simply write on that piece of paper what cause you are supporting this year (it can be a monetary donation or volunteering your time) and hold it in front of your face showing your personal pledge and take a picture! You can add the hashtags #givingtuesday and #unselfie so other people can find and share your post and encourage others to participate. It's not about showing off how much you donated, it's about sharing what's important to you and inspiring people to look further into the causes you support or even find one of their own to support. This year I'm supporting Reach Out WorldWide and their efforts to assist those affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. For those who aren't aware, Reach Out WorldWide was founded by Paul Walker and was the cause he was raising money for the day of his passing. If you want to honor Paul's memory or just donate to those in need ROWW is one of the many great causes you can donate to.

Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
