I've been cleaning out my closet recently so I keep finding all these amazing Sophie & Trey finds that I've had buried in my closet, some of which I've never even worn! Take this dress for example, I bought this dress sometime last year (I believe it was spring/summer) and decided it was more of a fall dress with the deep red and leather so I threw it in my closet waiting to pull it out again when I felt it was "season" appropriate. Fall came and went, winter came and went and I completely forgot I even had this dress until this week! I still feel it's more fall than spring but I couldn't help myself and just had to wear it once I found it again. I seriously love everything about this dress! From the flowy and semi-sheer high low hem to the faux leather bustier top, even the subtle spikes at the top are a great addition. I really felt this dress had enough going on that I didn't need to add too many accessories or do anything crazy with my hair. While this dress might not be perfect for every occasion, it's a great sexy date night or girl's night out dress! Have you ever cleaned out your closet and found almost an entire new wardrobe??
On another note, I HAD to express my sadness/anger over Rebekah leaving the tv show The Originals. I'm probably like the only (almost) 30 year old who watches it but it's totally my guilty little pleasure and to hear they wrote her off makes me not even want to watch it any more! Seriously, how can you have a show called The Originals and then write off one of the original vampires?? Especially one that brings so much life into the show? I sincerely hope the writers see the huge mistake they made and write her back into the show because I just can't see that many people tuning in to continue to watch Klaus hate the world and Elijah play martyr. Sorry, just had to get that out! </rant>
Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
