I saw this dress from the window of H&M and I knew I had to have it. I love crochet and fun hemlines so this was the perfect dress for me. I love the fun boho, beachy vibe of the dress, my only complaint (which is completely my fault) is how short it is. I totally didn't realize how short it was until I was wearing it one day and went to reach something off the top shelf. My cheeks were totally hanging out and I was getting quite the draft from it. I'm horrible at trying things on, I don't spend a lot of time looking at it and making sure it fits right, I usually just try it on, looks cute so off to the register I go. I'm thinking while this isn't really work appropriate it could be a good beach coverup or if I don't lift my arms above my head a good weekend outing outfit! For this outfit I decided to throw on a cute fedora hat I got from Target (SERIOUSLY obsessed with hats lately!), a long turquoise necklace from Forever 21 for a pop of color and my Emmy sandals from Tory Burch. A totally casual yet still fun look (in my opinion!). This outfit totally made me want to do a weekend getaway soon though. I'm thinking I at least need a trip to the beach in my near future! I'm ready for it to be Spring without our random rainy, cold days thrown in there!
Beautiful dress, and styled so well with your trilby and sandals for an edgy but dressed down look! I love your style so much! This dress reminds me of the Isabel Marant one from the H&M collection!
You look so chic and spring ready, especially with the hat and necklace!! I tried on a similar dress in yellow and now I regret not buying it - gorgeous:)
I absolutely love crochet dresses especially white ones for the summer. I agree when things are too short you have to do the "bend over test" ;-) I usually just wear shorter dresses with flats because there is nothing classier than a short dress and super high heels right? lol Your posts make me want to dig my hats out from my closet! Great way to keep the sun off our precious faces ;-) xoxoxo
Haha exactly!! I definitely should have done the bend test, fail on my part! And I completely agree, short shorts and super high heels... so classy LOL!!
your dress is adorable! i always have that problem with dresses and skirts! why do they make things so short? love the mix of black lace & turquoise here.
Thanks Lauren! :) I swear I never notice little things when I'm trying it on but when I get home and actually get to try it on for more than a minute that's when I notice LOL!
As soon as I saw the first photo, all I could think was "I need this dress I need this dress I need this dress!" Seriously so cute and perfect for this transition weather.
