Sequins and Sea Breezes: Out Sick

Out Sick

8/20/2015

Happy Friday eve pretty ladies! I am a bit under the weather today so I'm taking the day off from blogging to relax, and recharge and hope I get whatever I managed to catch out of my system before the weekend. I don't know if something is going around or whether I managed to pick something up while traveling but either way it is no fun being sick in the summer! The lovely Biana advised me to gargle with warm water and sea salt and that's helping but if you have any other suggestions for a sore throat feel free to throw them my way! I need to be better by Sunday for a friend's birthday brunch! I'll be back tomorrow (hopefully) sharing my Friday Favorites with ya'll!

  1. Awww, muffin, I'm so sad you are sick. B is a smart lady, I also advice a small teaspoon of honey if your throat still hurts. It's soothing and so is hot tea [i know it's scorching down by you, but it will help the throat]. Hope you get better soon!

  13. I hope you feel better soon, love! Definitely stay hydrated and take some vitamin C if you have it! It will help your immune system get strong so it doesn't go into a full blown cold!

  21. I hope you feel better. I agree being sick in the summer time should be illegal.. but then I think being sick at anytime of the year sucks! I always sleep with a humidifier when I'm congested/sore throat. It always seems to help me.
