Sequins and Sea Breezes: Beach Weather

Beach Weather

12/08/2015

Happy Tuesday! It feels weird writing a post like this. It's early December and everyone else is all bundled up, wearing boots and scarves and here I am strolling along the beach. Gotta love Florida winters... or something like that. On one hand I wish we were getting the same cool, brisk air everyone else was getting and on the other I love knowing it's still warm enough outside for me to wear shorts.
I wore this outfit to meet up with some out of town friends last week on a warm, sunny, breezy day at the beach. They're from up north so of course they thought I was completely crazy rocking a sweater at the beach but I'm definitely a Florida girl now and anything below 80 can be considered chilly. Crazy right?  This lightweight sweater was perfect for the breezy day and since I knew I wasn't going to get in the water instead of wearing my bathing suit underneath I rocked a lace bralette. I paired the sweater with some high wasited jean shorts and minimal jewelry. It was the perfect walking around the beach and pier outfit for a Florida fall day!

  17. So cute, love the shade of the sweater and that it's slightly see-through - so great for the beach!! I also love long sleeves paired with shorts. Except around here I wear that style when the temps break 60 ... 80!? I would be in full heat wave mode. Ha!!!
