Stripes for Days
12/03/2015
Happy Thursday loves! Technically my Thursday was Monday so today is my... oh who cares? Excuse me for being a bit MIA today (and tomorrow), I'm currently on my way out to New Mexico to visit my parents for the weekend. I'm surprising my dad, who's birthday is later this month, so I'm super excited to get out there. I haven't seen my mom since June and my dad since December of last year so I'll do my best to reply and comment but I'm going to soak up as much family time as I can since I don't get to see my parents that often.
Ok, now on to my outfit. It's official. I have a problem. Guys, I'm obsessed with anything striped. I'm not even kidding. When I saw this dress I knew I had to scoop it up and I'm so glad I did! It's quickly become one of my favorite fall dresses. I love the mix of horizontal and vertical stripes which is actually very slimming and the material is incredibly soft and you all know how much I love a good swing dress! For this look I kept it pretty casual but you could easily dress up this dress with a fur vest, some cute heels and fun accessories. What do you think about the mixed stripes?

Love that dress and those booties together! I totally thought that the booties were those Jessica Simpson ones that you recommended a month or two ago, but there still so beautiful. I totally bought the Jessica Simpson ones and everytime I wear them I get so many compliments on them!

You look gorgeous in that big floppy hat, first of all. Of course that trapeze striped dress is so cute. I saw it at Old Navy a couple of months ago but they only had a Medium left and it was huge on me.
ReplyDeleteLove your hat and booties styled with that dress! Those stripes are amazing and you have styled this perfectly! Have fun in New Mexico! xo, Champagne&Suburbs
