Bring It On Monday Coffee

Happy Monday lovelies! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I really wish I could have taken advantage of daylight savings time and actually gotten an extra hour of sleep yesterday but unfortunately I wasn't so lucky. I guess I shouldn't complain, getting up early on the weekends allows me to get a ton of stuff done in the morning which frees up my days to relax and actually enjoy the weekend. Speaking of, let's jump into my weekend recap with my girl, Biana!

If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat {pamelanicole84}, you probably saw that I spent my Friday at EDC in Orlando! It was such a fun, crazy experience. Not really my "scene" but I am so happy I got to experience it. I'll get into more detail about EDC later this week for those of you who might not be familiar but until then, here are a few pics.

Saturday I did some early morning retail therapy before heading out to tailgate for the UCF game.

We played Tulane and despite the score, it was a rough game. We ended up winning 37-6 but the majority of our touchdowns came from our defense. Our offense definitely has some work to do before we take on Cincinnati next weekend.

Sunday was for relaxing. It was a cloudy but cooler day so we took advantage of the slightly (and I do mean slightly) cooler weather. Is anyone else not really getting much fall?? I also made barbacoa tacos with homemade tortillas and fresh cilantro an I must say, I don't think I'll ever buy tortillas again. SO good and easy! Now I just need a tortilla press...

Have a fabulous week babes! I'm REALLY hoping my week won't be as crazy as last week so I can actually respond and comment back! Not to mention I'd love to not be so busy I forget to eat lunch :)

  3. So if EDC is a yearly occurrence in Orlando we might have to come next year because that is definitely Gary's scene!! I'm the same way about waking up early on the weekends - you get so much more done before 10 AM!! I'm happy to hear that UCF scored a win for you guys!! Hope you have a great start to the week! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  14. The EDC event looks so fun! You are definitely not the only ones to not get a fall... this weekend we finally got some cool weather and I was so happy! I need to get up earlier on the weekends. I get up so early during the week that I try to treat myself on weekends which isn't a good thing!

I am not a fan of waking up early, but I'm so with you...I always get so much done and makes for a great day to just relax afterward. Glad your guys pulled out a win! My college team lost to one of our biggest rivals...it was a good and very close game.

  19. Looks like a fun weekend! I didn't really take advantage of the extra hour of sleep either but the day did feel more productive and not as rushed. I've never attempted homemade tortillas but now you have me thinking about it! xo Beautifully Candid

  20. LOVE that you got to go to EDC! Every year I say I'm going to finally go, but then get sticker shock at the prices. Next year needs to be my year! Yay for a UCF win even if it's all owed to the defense. Cheers to a fabulous week <3

  26. EDC looked like so much fun, and I can't wait to hear more about it! That's a bummer that UCF didn't play that well, but at least y'all got a win! Hopefully the offense will get a talking to before your next big game! And I'm right there with you about not being able to sleep in on Sunday, but at least we had time to get stuff done!
