Happy Monday friends! Can we talk about how it's already April? Where the heck has the time gone? I feel like it was just January like 2 seconds ago and now it's already the 4th month of the year and summer is just around the corner. I say that as it's been spring for like a week but spring doesn't last long here in Florida. Speaking of, the spring like weather this weekend had me spending all the time outside. 

Friday after work I headed to meet up with Kerri for some Universal Studios fun. We decided to switch things up this year and get Universal passes instead of Disney so this was the first chance we had to go together and we rode a few rides, took in a Mardi Gras parade and got some food before calling it a night and heading home. Be prepared, this will definitely become a regular occurrence for us!


Saturday the weather was kinda crappy so I ran some errands, made some food and pretty much just relaxed all day. I stayed up a little later than my usual bedtime watching the Villanova vs. Kansas game but it was still a nice relaxing day.



Sunday was gorgeous so I headed out for a bit for a few drinks and enjoying the sunlight before heading home to catch up on blog stuff for the week and do some meal prep. 


All in all it wasn't the most exciting weekend I've ever had but I certainly won't complain about a good mix of fun and relaxing. Any time I get to catch up on my sleep I'm always a happy camper!

    fri was so fun! i'm excited for this weekend too. i had a good mix of fun and relaxing too so i can attest that is the best way to spend a weekend :)

    Catching up on sleep really is the best! And that’s so exciting that y’all got universal passes! They have so many fun events there throughout the year, and I’d be soaking up as much Harry Potter as possible!

    Good choice getting Universal Passes this time around! Enjoy them while the weather is sweet and you get to go to so much free concerts plus fun parades like the Mardi Gras festival.
