For some reason I've been obsessed with green lately. Olive green, kelly green, mint green... doesn't matter, I'm obsessed with them all! So I immediately was drawn to this dress just based on the color but it was definitely an added bonus that it's work appropriate since I'm always looking for things I can wear on a day to day basis and not just going out. That whole "budget" thing really puts a damper on having an endless closet but I guess we all can't be Paris Hilton, right? Not that I'd want to be her... I just wouldn't mind her lack of money concerns and that whole not having to working for a living thing. Must be nice to be able to travel and shop all day and not worry about it! Ok, enough complaining and back to the outfit. I seriously think I tried on every necklace I own with this dress and just wasn't happy with the way any of them looked. Don't ask me why, I think I was just being super picky. I ended up settling on wearing a belt and a very simple necklace instead which broke up the green enough for me. I was totally feeling the leopard print with this so I rocked the leopard print belt AND the leopard print wedges. Not something I'd usually do but I was in a weird mood so why not?
dress: h&m {in store only, similar here} / wedges: nine west {old, similar here} / belt: target / purse: forever 21 / watch: michael kors / bracelets: stella & dot, alex & ani / lips: laqa & co in lamb chop
I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite dresses that you've worn! I am obsessed with that color as well - it just looks so pretty and those wedges!! LOVE!!
I love that color on you! I think with that material it would be hard to get a necklace to lay right. I have a dress that is very similar from Target and I do a belt and no necklace because nothing ever looks right with it. The pumps and the bright color lip such fab touches as always!
You look lovely! Green is my favorite color, so I would have snapped up this dress too! I think the leather belt is thin enough that you can get away with both the belt and the shoes. The bit of pattern is great with a single color dress. Very nice!
Ha I feel like I totally need to start playing the lotto so I can have a life like Paris (but without all the drama and party antics ha). You look fantastic and I totally love that you can wear it to work!
That green looks absolutely amazing on you! And I really like how you wore leopard with classiness with the little touches in your accessories. Great styling! Following you now on bloglovin' and looking forward to seeing more!
Love that dress! It's got such a summer feeling which I cannot wait! Not that I am not enjoying Spring, but i live for Summer! Love how you styled it too! Kat | www.poshbykat.com
Oh having an endless supply of trust fund money would be so nice! I wouldn't want to be her but I'd definitely take her bank account any day! I've been drawn to navy lately, not so much green though, but I do love this shade on you. I imagine all kinds of greens would look fabulous on you so I can totally understand the love!
