Weekending
9/08/2015
Good morning dolls! Hope everyone had an amazing long weekend! Sorry for my absence on Friday and yesterday. Friday I took a little break since we didn't get home until late after the game and I was a little down since we lost and yesterday I just wanted to relax and enjoy a bit more of my weekend before jumping back into it. But I'm back and happy it's a short week this week. Linking up with my girl, Biana, for our weekend recap!
I guess my weekend kinda started on Thursday last week. I took a half day off of work to go tailgate for the UCF kickoff game. Like I previously said, unfortunately we lost so it definitely wasn't a good game but I'm really hoping we learn from our mistakes and improve as the season goes on. We lost a lot of players this year so I wasn't expecting to be overly great but that was really bad.
Friday I worked one of our events in our store in Winter Park. Kerri and Kate happen to work right by that store so they stopped by to check it out as well. Unfortunately I was a bad blogger (and extremely busy) so I didn't get many pictures but the event was a bottle signing with EFFEN Vodka and 50 Cent. The event went extremely smoothly (yay!) and 50 was so nice and friendly!
Saturday was our NFL Draft Party so I cleaned the house, made some food and prepped for everyone to come over. I didn't do a lot of research this year so I'm not too confident in my team but it was fun to get to see everyone and hang out. Plus I got to play cornhole for the first time this year so it was nice to shake some of the rust off.
Sunday we decided to do a little Sunday Funday in a different part of town. Unfortunately most of the places didn't open until 4 pm so we were a little ill-prepared there but it was still fun. Kerri and I participated in Das Boot which is always a fun time and I had planned on going home early but my mother upset me so I ended up wanting to go have a bit of fun so we decided to go bowling. The people at the bowling alley were SO nice, after they closed they gave us a private tour of the alley and gave us all brand new pins to take home. It was definitely a fun experience!
Monday I ran errands, cleaned and just relaxed. it was an off and on lousy day weather wise so I finished The Luckiest Girl Alive. Reese Witherspoon claimed it was one of those books you couldn't put down and I have to agree there. I read the entire book in 2 1/2 days! I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for something to read but just know it's not a lighthearted read. It has some pretty deep, dark moments but it's good!
Hope everyone has an amazing week!

Looks like a great weekend! I am super jealous that you met 50 Cent. Just seeing him brings back memories of senior year of high school spring break in Panama City. We played "It's your birthday" about a million times.
