Sequins and Sea Breezes: The Bear and Peacock

The Bear and Peacock

7/10/2017

Happy Monday friends! Recently I went and checked out The Bear and Peacock. Sounds like some crazy children's book right? At least that's what I thought when I first heard about it. Kinda like, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Well, it's actually just another stop on the Central Florida Ale Trail, this time in Winter Park. I'm not exactly sure why they call it The Bear and the Peacock but hey, who am I to judge? They have good beer and a good ambiance so I'll take it!
I'm all about a low-key, relaxing environment and I never complain when a place has a nice outdoor area since I love to be outside and this place checks off all my boxes. A lot of craft breweries don't have a ton of varieties of beer available but The Bear and the Peacock had a good variety of 10 different beers on tap as well as a few different wines for the non-beer drinker. Just because I like beer doesn't mean I always want to have one when I'm out so I like that they have the option just in case. Oh and did I mention they have trivia on Tuesday nights and are dog friendly? Yeah, now you know why I like this place. Out of all the places we've checked out on the Central Florida Ale Trail, The Bear and the Peacock ranks up there as one of my favorites so far.
