Happy Humpday lovelies! I'm not hating this whole 4 day work week thing. It's definitely making the week go by faster for me despite not being as busy at work. I could definitely get used to this, that's for sure! Although this Florida heat has me desperately wanting to either stay inside or stay in water somewhere. It has been HOT here. I'm talking heat of 1,000 suns hot. Just yesterday it felt like 96 at 9:30 am. So basically I've been living in all things flowy, lightweight and comfortable. 

I wore this dress out for my birthday last week and it was perfect considering we spent some time on patios, rooftops and even in open air bars. It was actually so cool and comfy that I ditched my pre-planned 4th of July outfit and wore this dress again instead. The blue and white stripes made it perfect for both the holiday and my birthday since my favorite color is blue! I was worried that this dress was going to be heavier than it actually is since it looks chambray but it's actually a woven cotton that feels more like a lighter linen than anything which is perfect for heat indexes of over 100 degrees by mid afternoon. I love that even though this dress is more on the casual side it's easily dressed up a bit with some accessories and heels but also perfect with just sandals. How are you beating the heat this summer?

Happy Tuesday lovers! One step closer to vacation, woohoo! I'm definitely over this cloudy, rainy weather we've been having lately, it's making me want to live in jeans and tee shirts. Luckily there are so many cute tee shirts out there it makes it easy to rock this look, at least on the weekends.
