Sequins and Sea Breezes: Casual And Cozy

Casual And Cozy

10/15/2014

Continuing my enthusiasm for mixing summer and fall trends today I decided to post an outfit you would easily see me rocking on a weekend... like this past Sunday :) For some reason I have a love for sweaters or long sleeves and shorts. Maybe it's because I get cold easily and usually my upper body gets cold first or maybe it's some unknown reason I'll never fully understand but either way, this is definitely my seasonal transition outfit.

I got this sweater from SheInside thinking it'd be a great "Florida sweater" since it's lightweight and flowy and it's exactly what I was looking for... once I got it. My first experience with SheInside was a really awesome experience despite reading horror stories from other people about them so I decided to place a second, larger order. Ugh. Now I know what everyone else was talking about! Definitely not the greatest experience and a little over a month later I finally got part of my order... I won't go into specifics unless you really want to know my whole ordeal but I totally understand what other people are talking about now. Moral of the story, cute stuff for cheap isn't always worth the hassle it takes to get it!

  2. This sweater really is perfect for warmer days! and I love your little sneakers with it! I hate when a store with such great prices really sucks on customer service! Hopefully you can get the rest of your order and move on!

  11. My upper body totally freezes compared to my lower body... if you see me running right now (just the other morning it was 28 degrees when I was running... my eyes watered the whole time from the painful cold!! Not even fair that we are freezing already!) I'm wearing ear muffs, and major layers up top (long sleeve, jackets, etc) and shorts on the bottom, HA!
Love this look! I'm really missing summerish weather at this point... good thing we are going to Vegas this weekend!

  36. I haven't tried Sheinside, but I have tried a similar site called Sammy Dress, fabulous prices, cute online but it took about a month to get to me and was terribly cheap when it finally arrived. I have been wanting to try Sheinside, thinking maybe it was better, but now I'm not so sure. However, I do love this sweater on you, so that's a win for sure!
