Lately I have been LOVING the dropped waist look. There have been so many amazing dropped waist dresses coming out lately from this adorable Loft abstract animal print dress as seen on the gorgeous Maggie from Polished Closets to this fun and casual ASOS striped dress as seen on Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook.
Whether you pair it with flats, heels or boots the dropped waist dress is flattering on every figure. I'm even loving the dropped waist wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses! I love how versatile it is and it's obviously a classic trend since the dropped waist has been around since the 1920's! I decided to create my ideal fall dropped waist dress look. How would you style a dropped waist dress?
I am loving this trend, especially the way Maggie styled it yesterday with over the knee boots! But, I also love it with a pointed toe flat or a heel as well. It's so flattering and versatile!
I love this trend too!! I actually just bought a dropped waisted dress and it was so flattering!! The inspo picture with Olivia Polermo off to the far right is my favorite and Maggies look was amazing yesterday!! Totally feel you on this trend!!
Girl you know I am loving drop-waist dresses! Thank you for the sweet shout out!! :) I am so happy you liked my look! and I think I need the one you linked here! I think it is adorable with little those booties!
Cute outfit! I love the drop waist in the vintage 1920's embellished flapper dresses - they are just so beautiful. I always am hesitant to try out this trend because I have wide hips!
I looove this look, too! I've been on the hunt for the perfect dress that fits just right but so far no luck. The search continues... but in the mean time I need to focus on the boots in that third picture - those are fabulous!!
I really love dropped waist dresses and am so happy it's a style that's sticking around. The look you created is adorable and perfect. I want to be wearing it right now.
Love the outfit you put together. I look awful in these because I literally have no waist. Seriously the bottom of my rib cage is like 1 inch from my hip bones. #funsized ~Elise @ highheelsglitteringeyes.blogspot.com
I was ABOUT to comment that I feel like I can't wear this look because I end up appearing about 12, but THEN I (wisely) read through your post and now have to say I love that you took the dress and paired it with edgy accessories. Problem solved!
