Sequins and Sea Breezes: Friday Five

Friday Five

10/31/2014

Happy Friday and Happy Halloween everyone!! I cannot believe October is over today! Dear 2014, please slow down a little!! I haven't decided whether I want to do anything tonight or not, truthfully I'm feeling a bit lazy and it's supposed to get pretty chilly tonight so I kinda just want to curl up on the couch, watch a scary movie and eat candy. While I'm deciding what I want to do tonight I'm linking up with Amanda for our Friday Favorites.

I decided to pick a few of my favorite Halloween moments for my Friday Favorites this week! So here they are in no particular order! And yes, I was one of those girls who wore costumes that have less material than a kids costume... try not to judge!

1. Who doesn't want to be the Super Mario Bros for Halloween? I mean, come on they're awesome! That was one of my favorite video games growing up (who am I kidding... I still play it) so it was a lot of fun getting to be Mario!

2. Alright so not the best picture of our costumes but I LOVE this picture. It makes me laugh every time I see it. I was the Mad Hatter and we had a fun little Alice in Wonderland theme going. I still love my little teacup hat!

3. We didn't have much of a theme this year but Carley (Max from Where the Wild Things Are) had the BEST costume. We saw a bunch of really awesome costumes out this year. I think this was when Twilight was popular so there were a lot of Edwards out roaming around and one guy really nailed it.

4. This was one of the first pictures ever taken with my iPhone 5! It also happened to be the first time I ever owned an iPhone. Random, I know. Again, not really much of a theme this year. Shannon and I decided we wanted to wear fangs so we were vampires. I forgot how much I loved Shannon's darker hair until I saw this picture!

5. That time we dressed up like the Village People. Yup, that was a fun time! Ignore how crazy burnt I was. I can't remember why but I'm sure I laid out to try to get darker. This was definitely one of my smallest costumes... I don't even think I could bend over without showing something... oh the things we do when we're young!

Does any one have any fun plans this weekend or tonight? If you're going out be safe!! Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
