Happy Thursday lovelies! The weekend is so close I can almost taste it! I've been downright exhausted this week so I'm ready for a nice relaxing weekend and if my dog allows it, sleeping in past 7 am. I actually wrote this post a few weeks ago but kept it in my back pocket for a week like this week! I'm not (and never really have been) a huge fan of the color pink. I have very few pink articles of clothing in my closet, and while I don't mind pink as an accent color (hello Lilly Pulitzer) I was never really the person who needed something in pink. When they released the Pantone color(s) of the year I was shocked to find that I actually was more drawn to the rose quartz color than the serenity, especially given that blue is my favorite color.
My initial thought was "pale pink and baby blue... how original" but the two colors are so often seen together that it makes sense. But the main thing I love about the rose quartz is like the color black, almost every skin tone looks good in it.Whether you wear it as a main color in your outfit, as an accessory or even just as decor in your home, rose quartz goes with everything. In honor of one of the Pantone colors of the year, I decided to put together some things I'm loving lately all in rose quartz.
