One of my coworkers Skyped me about the J.Crew Factory 30% off sale one afternoon and just for the fun of it I started surfing the site to see what they had. I found a few things I really liked but most were out of stock in my size so I kept perusing and found myself in the "Girls" section of the site. Eventually I ended up finding this dress and I absolutely fell in love with it. The colors, the nautical aspect of it and it has POCKETS! Everything about it screamed that it needed to be in my closet immediately but it was a girls dress in sizes I am SO not familiar with so what now? I decided to bring up the adult and kids sizing chart and try comparing the sizes and go from there. Then after much deliberation and going back and forth with said coworker I finally just decided to take the plunge and get it. I mean an adorable J.Crew dress for only $25, how can you pass that up? Of course the dress came in the mail while I was out of town visiting my friend in Ft. Myers so the second I got home I immediately tried it on and was thrilled that I could actually get it over my head (I have a rather large head people, the fear it wouldn't go over my melon sized noggin was real). I wasn't AS worried about it being too short since I am basically the size of a 14 year old any way, and yes I did Google this to confirm it before ordering, but I was a bit concerned. Needless to say I was super excited when it fit and wasn't completely inappropriate! I did feel a bit uncomfortable wearing it with heels or wedges so it's definitely going to be a flats only dress but I'm still totally in love with it!
Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
