Happy Tuesday loves! Is anyone else as happy as I am that peplum is still a popular trend? It's so fun and figure flattering, not to mention sexy and elegant! When I saw this top I immediately fell in love with the pleated bottom and lace top and I knew I had to have it. With the holidays right around the corner I knew it'd get a lot of wear at all of the holiday parties and seriously, you can't beat the price! So far I've already worn it with a simple black blazer and a leather jacket and skirt for a night out, it is so versatile!


For this look I decided to edge it up a little with these coated skinny jeans but since it was in the 70's out I decided to skip the blazer or jacket. Note to self, coated denim is not the best in warmer temperatures! I topped off my look with these amazing Michael Kors heels I scored at Ross last year (sadly they're super uncomfortable but if you watch Anger Management, like Patrick said "you know they're expensive if they're uncomfortable!") and a fun gold glitter clutch for a bit of sparkle!

    The coated denim is soooo good- but doesn't breathe, you're right! Good thought to skip the jacket. :)

    Cute! I can't believe that top is from Target. Can you believe I have yet to wear a peplum top? I have trouble finding one that's long enough to be flattering on my long torso. I'll have to try this one!

    Oh I am looooving this outfit! Those shoes are so fun, too bad they are uncomfortable :( I admit it, I haven't really loved peplum on me, I prefer my tops a little longer and peplum just isn't long BUT you better believe I have multiple peplum tops for Mia. I'm not even kidding when I say I live vicariously through her wardrobe sometimes, HA!!

    Adorable top! Looks perfect on you! I am completely jealous that you are still able to bare your arms and it's December while I'm in sweaters, scarves, coats, hats, etc. Not sure why I'm still living in Illinois!

    I own quite a few peplums and love how they transform my shape to look more curvey. Yours is a more subtle peplum but super cute and I love the purse!
