Happy last day of 2014 everyone! Can you believe the year is already over? Is it just me or do the years go by quicker the older you get? While I've gotten over the desire to go downtown and party it up on New Year's Eve it is still fun to get all dressed up and sip champagne with friends which is what I plan on doing this year! Any excuse to wear something that sparkles is definitely a good day in my opinion!
One of the best parts about living in Florida is by far the weather. You really can't beat mid 70's on New Year's Eve, especially since that allows me to wear cute little sparkly dresses to go out and not freeze! Although it is a bit breezy out so excuse my crazy hair... it was curled before the wind got a hold of it! I got this adorable sequin dress from one of my favorite little local boutiques awhile ago but decided to break it out again this year. I decided to add a pop of red with my lips and my heels but keep the rest of the outfit monotone and let the sparkle speak for itself. Even though it's warm out during the day it can get a bit chilly at night so I threw on my velvet moto jacket which also toughens up the look a bit.
Is anyone doing anything fun for New Year's Eve? I hope everyone has a fabulous and safe evening! Tomorrow I'll be in Tampa watching Auburn take on Wisconsin at the Outback Bowl so I'll be MIA but I'll be back Friday to link up with my girl, Amanda!
Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
