Happy Monday loves! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Another weekend gone by way too quickly but I won't complain. I have a busy weekend next weekend but so far this week isn't looking TOO busy so that's a nice change. Linking up with my hopefully no longer sick friend, Biana, for our weekend recap!
Friday night I got home quicker than usual which was awesome so I got a chance to enjoy some daylight before making dinner.
After dinner I went to a local brewery for a few beers and some board games. Yup, that's how I spend my Friday night... you can call me lame but I still love playing board games! Kate met up with us and we broke out Sorry! and Trouble! Two games I hadn't played in FOREVER. Before we knew it it was midnight and way past my bedtime so we called it a night.
Saturday it was supposed to rain so I woke up pretty early and ran some errands but the weather ended up being gorgeous for most of the day. After running my errands, which included a stop to pick up a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle. Did I mention my job has AMAZING perks?!?!
After errands I decided to head out by the pool and read for a bit. I finally finished The Husband's Secret and started The Girl on the Train.
Sunday I gave my sweet little fur baby a bath. He was not a fan. Unlike most dogs, he hates the rain and water. After his bath I ran a few more errands (don't you hate when you forget something and have to run back out?!?) before it started pouring out. The rest of the day was spent making food for the week and relaxing.
All in all, it definitely wasn't a bad weekend and even though it rained Sunday I had a great time relaxing. Next weekend is already filling up so it was nice to get some rest in this weekend! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!
Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
