I seriously can't believe it's Thursday already! I wish all weeks flew by as fast as this one! Wait, actually maybe I don't. It's a good thing this week but maybe slowing down wouldn't be a bad thing. I don't think I'm quite ready for this year to be over yet. However, I am ready for the weekend. UCF has a bye week this week (I'm definitely a little sad about this) so I'm hoping to get some relaxing in this weekend since last weekend was super hectic and I apparently managed to strain/pull my neck this week working out. Oops. Some quality time with my bed/couch seems like just what the doctor ordered.
So I found this dress at H&M and loved the print and the style but it was a little big on me. Since they were completely out of the next size down I just decided to go for the bigger size and see what I could do with it. When I got home I got the genius idea to belt the dress and see how it looked. I'm still not completely sold on the belt with it but I definitely don't hate it either. I'm definitely feeling the animal print this week (if you haven't noticed) and I thought this was a fun mix up from my normal leopard print. Hey, zebra(ish) can be a neutral too.... right?
Also, be sure to vote for me for the Wear, Share & Win contest here! Pretty please with a cherry on top?? :)
100% neutreral! Love the shape and design of the dress, so feminine and fun. I've done the belt thing on an eh dress and turned it into a wow dress too. Crazy, right.
ok this is my favourite look ever! seriously, the dress looks amazing on you and i love it. i would never have thought i could pull off zebra but this print is super neutral and i just LOVE it. I went to H&M on the weekend and saw that lace dress you had on the other week and the the smallest size they had was a 12, no bueno. i didnt see this one!
I like the addition of the belt, what a cute dress. A weekend being lazy sounds amazing and I'd love to do it too. Here's hoping I get some couch time on Sunday.
Definitely a neutral! I wouldn't have thought this dress was too big on you if you hadn't mentioned it... and I still don't! Belting it was a great idea!
Zebra always get the shaft when it comes to animal prints! I love that you chose to rock it! Always see so much leopard, not enough of these stripes! :) xo Erin www.winkandatwirl.com
The belt definitely works and loving this dress on you so much. If it wasn't before, we're pretty sure zebra has to be a neutral now. It's perfection!!

ReplyDeleteWell since it's black and white, it technically has to be a neutral. :) Love this dress, it looks great belted. Good thinking to try that!
