Happy Friday eve lovelies! It's supposed to rain (again) today so I'm really hoping that Mother Nature gets it out of her system before this weekend so we can have some nice weather! This rain has made me miss my bike rides this week so I'm ready to get back out there and get some exercise in. Although it looks like this rain is bringing a "cold" front through and it's only supposed to be in the 70's this weekend so that's nice. Finally getting a bit of spring weather here! Ok, so enough about the weather let's talk about my outfit, shall we?
Wow, I feel like that sounded so bossy haha! Lately I've been trying to buy more "office" appropriate clothing. I don't have much of a dress code but it is still much more of a professional environment than my previous jobs so I do like to look nice and put together. Keep in mind, in Florida people wear flip flops to church on Sunday so dressed up is definitely in the eye of the beholder but I'm trying to look more "Florida office" appropriate. This top was on of the tops from my J.Crew order a few weeks ago that I just fell in love with. I absolutely love that J.Crew makes so many pieces that can be taken from day to night and office to play. This silky tank is modest but still sexy and dressy but not too dressy. I had a fairly important meeting on Tuesday with the higher ups in the office so I figured this tank would be perfect with a lightweight sweater. I decided to pair it with this super cute pencil skirt and some heels and minimal jewelry to keep things less flashy and more sophisticated. Where do all my office ladies do most of their shopping? I've been all about J.Crew and Express lately but I'd love to hear of some other awesome places for cute and versatile work clothes!
Happy Friday lovelies! I'm not going to lie, I had every intention of taking today off from blogging since this week has been crazy ...
