Sequins and Sea Breezes: Lindi Skin

Lindi Skin

4/07/2015

Happy Tuesday dolls! Hope everyone isn't too tired if you stayed up to watch the NCAA Championship. I stayed up as long as I could but 5:30 am comes WAY too early to be staying up that late on a Monday so I missed most of the game. Lucky for me I'm not the biggest basketball fan so I don't feel like I missed too much. Now lets talk about something we all deal with, skincare!

As I've discussed before, I have pretty sensitive skin. I breakout easily and have a tendency to get red, blotchy spots when I use something that's too harsh for my skin. Lately I've been on the hunt for more organic or less harsh products to use in my day to day life. I had never heard of Lindi when they first reached out to me so I did some research and found out that Lindi started as a skincare line for cancer patients who were undergoing radiation. I've had to witness multiple family members go through radiation during cancer treatment so I know all to well the effects radiation can have on your body, including your skin. Rashes and burns are common side effects of receiving chemotherapy so using the most non-abrasive facial products is necessary. Lindi Skin products provide high levels of beneficial antioxidants to your skin through concentrated botanicals.

Recently I got a bit sunburned (trust me, it was not on purpose!) on my nose, cheeks and forehead near my hairline and my skin was extremely sensitive when washing it so it was the perfect time to try out the Lindi line. The face wash was literally the most gentle face wash I have ever used. At first I worried that it wasn't strong enough to fully cleanse my skin but I was wrong. All of the Lindi products are extremely gentle on my skin, smell great and leave my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Most surprisingly? My skin didn't even peel from the burn! While I can't say how this would be for someone going through chemo or radiation I can say that for someone with sensitive skin or a mild sunburn this is the perfect solution!

Lindi Skin has been kind enough to offer my readers 25% off and free shipping through May 31st using the code BLOG25 The company will also make a donation to the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program for every purchase through this date.
