Happy Monday friends! I don't know about you but I'm wishing it was still the weekend. There's never enough time to catch up on sleep during the weekends. And as some of you already know, I have some stomach issues which of course kept me up last night so it's going to be a multiple cups of coffee day for me! Linking up with my girl B for our weekend recap!


Friday was nice and relaxing. After going out for St. Patty's Day the day before I just decided to spend Friday hanging out with my pup and watching tv. It was so nice to get home and have some daylight still though!

Saturday I woke up, headed to the gym and then ran some errands. It started out as a gorgeous morning then quickly turned chilly and rainy so we didn't really want to do much. We ended up heading to a local brewery for some cards and some drinks before heading home for dinner and some movies. Has anyone seen Silent Hill? That movie is SO weird.



Sunday I woke up to a little bit of rain so I assumed like the day before it was going to be a gross day out but man was I wrong. Florida weather can be so crazy sometimes. We decided to head out to brunch before stopping and doing some pictures with Kate and then hitting up another local brewery. After two drinks we headed home for dinner which ended up being a smart idea since my stomach started to hurt then.



Which leads me to ask, does any one else have issues with digestion? I don't get sick after I eat all the time but occasionally my stomach will be so upset after I eat and it bothers me for hours. I've been debating on trying one of the tea detoxes to see if that helps but I'm willing to try anything. This week I've ordered some cold pressed juices and turmeric, ginger and lemon juice shots which are supposed to be good for your digestive track but if anyone else has these issues and has something that works for them, please share! I'm open to suggestions!

Happy Monday friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I didn't really do much for the first time in weeks so it was nice to catch up on my sleep, reading and tv in general. I didn't realize how many shows I was behind on! I even started to watch Making A Murderer. Unfortunately I didn't get too far into it but I definitely see why it's bringing out so many emotions in viewers. Hoping I'll get to continue binge watching next weekend but until then, let's jump right in to my weekend recap with Biana! 

Friday after work I headed up to meet Kerri and the boys in Winter Park for happy hour. It was rough being back at work for a full 5 days again so it was nice getting to unwind with some wine and people watching. The street we were sitting on has a bunch of parallel parking on it and I swear if you sit there for an hour you'll see at least one car hit another and drive away.

Saturday morning I decided to venture out to the mall for a bit. I'm not really a huge shopper, I much prefer to do it online, but I needed to pick up some things at Sephora so out I went. After the mall we headed out to my favorite local Mexican place for some queso and margaritas. It was kinda crappy weather all weekend but the weather was warm enough to enjoy the patio Saturday so we sat outside while we still could.

Saturday night was spent at home watching football and making homemade egg rolls. I'm not even going to discuss the game further. It was a complete disappointment and embarrassment by both teams and the officiating staff and that's all I'm going to say.

Sunday was spent relaxing and running errands. The weather progressively got colder throughout the day instead of warmer so we just decided to stay in and watch tv to avoid the gross weather. My pup was definitely super happy to get all the snuggles Sunday! He hates napping alone so I may have joined him for a bit :)

Happy Monday babes! Why does it always seem like the weekends go by way too quickly? I swear, two days during the week feel like seven but two days during the weekend feel like 3 hours. Who do we talk to about fixing this? My schedule this week isn't too busy (fingers and toes crossed that it stays that way) so hopefully it should be a good week! I had some ups and downs last week so a nice uneventful week would be great! Linking up with my blogger love, Biana, for our weekend recap!

Friday night I grabbed a few beers with a co-worker. After a long, semi-stressful week it was just nice to unwind and chat with her about some things that had been bugging me. Being the "new" girl still it's hard gauging when someone is taking advantage of me and when something is actually my responsibility. I'm learning and I still LOVE my job but I think this past month in general was just stressful for me so I'm ready for my life to get back on schedule.

Saturday morning I was up bright and early (ok, who am I kidding. I'm always up bright and early) to get ready to head to Epcot with the boys and Kerri for Food and Wine Fesitval. I haven't been to Disney in at least 5 years and I haven't been to Epcot since I was 4 or 5 years old so this was definitely almost a brand new experience for me. Actually it pretty much was since I've never been to Food and Wine Festival! Luckily, Kerri is a seasoned pro so she lead me through everything and made sure I went to the best spots. I'll recap more about Food and Wine Festival tomorrow so I don't completely overload this post! The weather was gorgeous and it was so nice just getting to walk around outside all day and hang out with my favorite people!

Sunday was spent recovering from Saturday. We did a TON of walking, which I'm not complaining about. Did you know Epcot is 300 acres which is more than twice the size of Magic Kingdom and only 35 acres smaller than Busch Gardens Tampa? The more you know... (where's my little star with the rainbow trail when you need it?) so we were pretty beat from all the walking. Luckily sitting around on a Sunday watching football is my ideal Sunday so I was a happy camper and the Bengals won so major bonus! I also made some amazing loaded baked potato soup since it was cooler out. I wish these temps would stay but I'm not holding my breath.

Happy Monday dolls! Another weekend gone by way too quickly. It was a good one though and I'm one weekend closer to my next vacation so I can't complain. And this week is currently scheduled to be less crazy than last week so that's always a plus! Is it ever a bad week when you have a hair appointment scheduled? I didn't think so. Let's get into my weekend recap with Biana, shall we?

Friday night was super low key. I got to leave work a little early so I went home, did my nails and read The Royal We for a bit. After making dinner we decided to run out and rent a movie and get some ice cream. The rest of the night was spent curled up on the couch with my pup and a movie and I ended up in bed by like 11 pm. Not a bad Friday in my opinion!

Saturday morning I woke up with a headache (nope, I didn't drink anything the night before so it wasn't alcohol related, just bad luck) so I spent the morning relaxing a bit before heading downtown to do some fashion shots for the blog this week. It was supposed to rain but instead it was insanely hot out. I gave up trying to look cute (the sweat and humidity killed my makeup and hair) so we headed to WOB to grab a beer. 

Of course as luck would have it right as we finished our beer and were heading back to the car the skies opened up and it began POURING out. We got completely drenched running back to the car (which was over a mile away) but it was definitely an experience. 

 

After we got home and cleaned up we headed out to meet up with Kerri at a new local brewery, Ten 10.  You know you're old when you have to stop and get Starbucks on your way out for the evening and you're going out at 8 pm! LOL! Loved the brewery and the beer but it's crazy loud in there due to lack of insulation and it got pretty hot so we cashed out and headed over to one of our other go-to's, Matador. 

Darts and Dark 'n' Stormys happened at Matador as they almost always do. After a few rounds of darts (and Kerri and I FINALLY winning) we called it a night. 

Sunday was extremely uneventful which was fine by me! I went to the pool for a bit to even out my tan since I haven't even put on a bikini since Key West and I've been peeling like crazy. After the pool I came in, read some more of The Royal We, went grocery shopping and even took a nap! That's a good Sunday right there. Minus the grocery shopping, not my favorite.

Happy Monday love bugs! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I had a pretty uneventful weekend so this should be pretty short. Last weekend was definitely way more eventful but I'm definitely not complaining because I could totally use a nice relaxing weekend and my birthday is in two weeks so I'm sure the next two weekends will be busy. Let's link up with my love Biana for our weekend recap, shall we? 

Friday I had my video shoot all day so by the time I got home I was pretty exhausted so I just relaxed and watched a movie. I got off early so you'd think I'd have gotten a chance to recover but nope, I was definitely ready for pajamas and my couch! 

Saturday I went out to the pool for a bit. It was nice to get to read and relax by the pool instead of running around doing things. 

 

Saturday night I hung out with the boys and made some cocktails from our menu on Friday and played Wii, definitely and nice and low key evening. It's been awhile since I had one of those!

Sunday I ran some errands before heading out to lunch/brunch where I ran into some good friends so it turned into a giant lunch/brunch fest. Hello unlimited mimosas! :) Ok, so I didn't order the unlimited mimosas but they did and the waitress totally let me steal off of theirs.

After brunch we decided to head over to the movie theater (walking distance) and see Jurassic World. Yup, I've been obsessed with this movie series for 22 years so I was super excited. Thank goodness you can drink in the movie theater because the movie wasn't that great. It was good but the plot kinda sucked... oh well. I mean, how many times can you go back to the same dangerous park? Right? Although spoiler alert, they totally have it set up for another one. Boo. Oh and I learned 3D movies are not worth it. In my opinion.
